Jetstar

Jetstar is a low cost, value-based airline and a wholly owned subsidiary of Qantas. Jetstar reaches over 40 domestic destinations and regularly flies internationally to countries like New Zealand, Japan, Thailand and Vietnam. Jetstar offers two types of fares with the option to add on a ‘Plus’ or ‘Max’ bundle to suit your needs.

Cabin Classes

Economy

Economy cabins contain leather seats with pitch ranging from 28 to 31 inches, depending on the aircraft. For a small fee you can purchase a window or aisle seat and extra room in the exit row. Onboard you can purchase a range of snacks and drinks. Passengers can rent a portable Video on Demand unit to watch movies and TV shows. Jetstar allows economy passengers to only pay for the checked baggage they require. Select from 15kg to 40kg of checked baggage in 5kg increments, per passenger, per flight.

Check-in Options

Jetstar offers web check-in or auto web check-in service for domestic flights from 48 hours up until 60 minutes before your departure time. If checking in at the airport you can avoid the queues and use the Jetstar electronic kiosks, or visit one of the Jetstar check-in counters.

Rewards Program

As Jetstar is a subsidiary of Qantas, passengers may earn Qantas Frequent Flyer Points. Existing Qantas Frequent Flyer members who add a ‘Plus’ or ‘Max’ bundle to their Economy Jetstar fare will earn Qantas Frequent Flyer points and Status credits.

Lounges

Jetstar have access to two lounges; Coolongatta Airport (Gold Coast) and Auckland New Zealand. Entry can be purchased for a fee at the door.

Jetstar also operates an international airline.
