Rex Airlines
Rex Airlines is Australia’s largest private regional airline offering affordable flights to rural towns and main centres throughout Australia. REX reaches over 30 regional destinations throughout New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia. REX offers 4 types of economy fares with varying fees and extras. Child and senior fares are also available.
Cabin Classes
Economy
Rex Economy allows passengers to purchase what features and extras they require, ranging from payment, fare changes, refunds and waitlist. There are four fares available including Rex Net Plus, Rex Saver, Rex Biz and Rex Flee. All Rex Airlines passengers are allowed one small bag or briefcase as carryon baggage and 15kg of checked baggage.
Check-in Options
Rex passengers are required to check-in at the allocated check-in desks 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time at Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney airports and 20 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time at Regional Airports.
Rewards Program
The Rex Flyer reward program is temporarily suspended due to a revamp and will not be accepting any new members. For existing members the program will still function as per normal.
Lounges
Rex Lounges are available in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide domestic airports. To access these lounges you must be a Rex Lounge member. Snacks, tea, coffee and soft drinks are available for members to enjoy throughout the day. Beer and wine is available after 3pm. Each lounge is equipped with reading material, a plasma TV and workstations that include PCs with internet access, as well as a phone for free local calls. A private meeting room can be arranged at Rex Lounge for members at the Sydney domestic airport.
