Air Malta Airlines
Air Malta is the national airline of Malta servicing 37 destinations across Europe and North Africa. The airline is based at Malta international airport and carries an average of 2 million passengers each year. Fare types include Economy Class and Club Class.
Cabin Classes
Economy Class
Economy Class cabins contain seats with a pitch of 32 inches. The in-flight menu includes complimentary meals and beverages. Alcoholic drinks are available to purchase. Cabins contain shared pop-down screens that offer a range of pre-selected movies and programs. Economy Class passengers are allowed 1 piece of 8kg hand luggage and 20kgs of checked baggage.
Club Class
Club Class cabins contain leather seats with a pitch of 34 inches. The in-flight menu includes complimentary international cuisine, Maltese wines and Champagne. Cabins contain shared pop-down screens that offer a range of pre-selected movies and programs. Club Class passengers are allowed 1 piece of 8kg hand luggage and 30kgs of checked baggage.
Check-in Options
Air Malta offers web and mobile check-in from 23 hours up until 2 hours before departure time. If checking in at the airport, check-in closes 30 minutes before departure time.
Rewards Program
The Flypass rewards program allows members to earn points when they fly with Air Malta. Accumulated points can be used towards flight upgrades, extra baggage, priority treatment and other benefits with Air Malta.
Lounges
Air Malta has The La Vallette Lounge at Malta International Airport. The lounge features TVs, computer terminals, free wireless internet, hot and cold snacks, fruit and a well stocked bar. Club Class passengers and Flypass Diamond members need to collect an invitation in order to have access to the lounge.
