Cathay Pacific is a Hong Kong based airline flying to 142 destinations spanning 39 countries and territories. Cathay Pacific is one of only five airlines rated as a five star airline and is listed as the 4th largest airline in the world. Fare types include Economy, Business Class and First Class.

Cabin Classes

Economy

Economy cabins contain fixed back seats with a pitch of 32 inches, lumbar support and 9 inch seat-back screens. The in-flight menu offers a selection of regional Asian and Western Cuisine and three main courses on long-haul flights. Snacks and beverages are also available depending on the flight. Cathay Pacific uses the StudioCX entertainment system featuring a wide range of movies, TV shows and music. Economy passengers are allowed 1 piece of 7 kg hand luggage, 2 pieces of 23 kg (each) checked baggage when flying to The Americas and 1 piece of 20kg of checked baggage for all other destinations.

Business Class

Business Class cabins contain adjustable flat beds with data ports, ottomans, in-seat power supply and a slide-out studio entertainment located on the side privacy wall. The in-flight menu offers Asian and Western entrees and cuisine served in individual courses, accompanied by award-winning wines. Snacks and beverages are also available throughout the flight. Cathay Pacific uses the StudioCX entertainment system featuring a wide range of movies, TV shows and music. Business Class passengers are allowed 1 piece of 10 kg hand luggage, 2 pieces of 32 kg (each) checked baggage when flying to The Americas and 1 piece of 30kg of checked baggage for all other destinations.

First Class

First Class cabins contain mini suites featuring flat beds with massage functions, leg rests, footrests and 4 way lumbar support. On flights over 6 hours, passengers are provided with a sleep wear, amenity kits and duvets. The in-flight a-la-carte menu offers Asian and international cuisine prepared in state-of-the-art galleys. Snacks and beverages are also available throughout the flight. Cathay Pacific uses the StudioCX entertainment system featuring a wide range of movies, TV shows and music. First Class passengers are allowed 1 piece of 15 kg hand luggage, 2 pieces of 32 kg (each) checked baggage when flying to The Americas and 1 piece of 40kg of checked baggage for all other destinations.

Check-in Options

Cathay Pacific offers mobile and web check-in from 48 hours up until 2 hours before the departure time. If checking in at the airport, Cathay Pacific recommends you check-in 90 minutes before departure the time.

Rewards Program

The Marco Polo Club allows members to earn points when they fly with Cathay Pacific Airways, Dragonair and airlines affiliated with the oneworld alliance, or when they shop with their partners. Members receive priority treatment and benefits including free up-grades, extra baggage, complimentary services and early or late check-in. Benefits are determined by accumulated points.

Lounges

Cathay Pacific has three lounges at Hong Kong International Airport. Their premiere flagship lounge The Wing includes a Business Class lounge and a First Class lounge. The Business Class lounge features IT workstations, complimentary wireless internet access, shower suits and a self serve buffet. The First Class lounge features luxurious bath facilities, library, buffet cuisine and an à la carte service. The Pier is an alternate lounge for Business and First Class passengers and features day break rooms, showers, beverage bars, a noodle bar and personal living spaces with IT facilities and wireless internet access. The Cabin is the most recent lounge addition and features a deli, beverage bar, IT facilities and wireless internet access. The Cabin is available to First and Business Class passengers, The Marco Polo Club members (silver tier and above), and oneworld members (Sapphire and above).
