Emirates Airlines

Emirates Airlines is the largest airline in the Middle East, flying to over 105 destinations spanning 6 continents. Based at Dubai International Airport, Emirates Airlines operates over 2,300 flights every week and boasts more than 400 awards for excellence worldwide. Fare types include Economy Class, Business Class and First Class.

Cabin Classes

Economy Class

Economy Class cabins contain seats with a pitch of 32 to 34 inches depending on the aircraft, in-seat power supply, satellite telephones and seat back entertainment screens. The in-flight menu includes multi-course meals on long haul flights including hors d’oeuvre, salad, a choice of two main courses, dessert, chocolates and liqueurs. A range of complimentary beverages are also available. Emirates Airlines uses the ice on-demand entertainment system offering 1,200 channels (not available on Airbus A340-300 and A330). The in-seat screens can also send texts and emails, allowing passengers to stay connected throughout the flight. Economy Class passengers are allowed 1 piece of 7kg hand luggage, 2 pieces of 23kg (each) when flying to Canada or the USA and 2 pieces of 32kg (each) when flying to Brazil. For all other destinations, passengers are allowed 1 piece of 30kg checked baggage.

Business Class

Business Class cabins on A380 and selected Boeing 777 aircraft contain flat beds that are 79 inches in length. Seats include a 17 inch touch-screen that doubles as a wireless seat controller, in-seat power supply, personal storage, built-in mini-bar and a privacy divider. The in-flight menu includes multi-course meals on long haul flights including cold canapés, hors d’oeuvre, entree, 5 course lunches and dinners, hot and cold desserts, port with five types of cheese, fresh fruit and liquors with sweets. A range of complimentary beverages and healthy meal options are also available. Emirates Airlines uses the ice on-demand entertainment system offering 1,200 channels. The in-seat screens can also send texts and emails, allowing passengers to stay connected throughout the flight. Business Class passengers are allowed 2 pieces of 12kg (total) hand luggage, 2 pieces of 32kg (each) when flying to Canada, the USA or Brazil and 1 piece of 40kg checked baggage for all other destinations.

First Class

First Class cabins on A380-800, A340-500, Boeing 777-200LR and select Boeing 777-300ER aircraft contain private suites. Suites feature flat beds as well as 19 to 23 inch LCD screens, electronically operated sliding doors, personal mini-bars, vanity tables, mirrors and wardrobes. A380 aircraft also have shower-spas onboard for First Class passengers. Other First Class cabins contain Skycruiser flat beds with in-seat controllers and personal mini bars. The in-flight menu includes multi-course meals on long haul flights including breakfast options, 7 course lunch and dinners, hot canapés, a choice of 3 hors d’oeuvres, soup, salad, 4 entrees, 2 desserts, port with five types of cheese, fresh fruit and liquors with sweets. A range of complimentary beverages and healthy meal options are also available. Emirates Airlines uses the ice on-demand entertainment system offering 1,200 channels. The in-seat screens can also send texts and emails, allowing passengers to stay connected throughout the flight. First Class passengers are allowed 2 pieces of 12kg (total) hand luggage, 2 pieces of 32kg (each) when flying to Canada, the USA or Brazil and 1 piece of 50kg checked baggage for all other destinations.

Check-in Options

Emirates Airlines offers mobile and web check-in from 24 hours up until 90 minutes before departure time. If checking in at the airport, Emirates recommends Economy passengers check-in no later than 3 hours before departure time and First and Business Class passengers check-in no later than 60 minutes before departure time.

Rewards Program

Emirates have 2 loyalty programs; Business Rewards and Skywards. The Business Rewards program is tailored to small and medium-sized business, allowing organisations to earn points which can be redeemed for further business travel by any staff member. The Skywards program allows members to earn points when they fly with Emirates or shop with their affiliated partners. Accumulated points can be used to redeem upgrades and flights with Emirates, as well as a range of travel rewards with their affiliated parents.

Lounges

Emirates have 26 dedicated lounges located across the UK, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and the Pacific. Lounges include a range of services and facilities including large plasma screens, shower facilities, Business Centres and free wireless internet access. Lounges also offer a full bar service and large buffet including a selection of Arabic, Far Eastern, Western and vegetarian cuisine, as well as breakfast and an array of desserts. Lounges are available to First Class and Business Class passengers as well as Skywards Gold members.
