Jetstar
Jetstar is a low cost, value-based airline and a wholly owned subsidiary of Qantas. Jetstar reaches over 40 domestic destinations and regularly flies internationally to countries like New Zealand, The United States, Japan, Thailand and Vietnam. Jetstar offers two types of fares with the option to add on a ‘Plus’ or ‘Max’ bundle to suit your needs.
Cabin Classes
Economy
Economy cabins contain leather seats with pitch ranging from 28 to 31 inches, depending on the aircraft. For a small fee you can purchase a window or aisle seat and extra room in the exit row. Passengers may pre-purchase meals before boarding or select from the in-flight meal service during flight. A selection of beverages are also available to purchase. Passengers can rent a portable Video on Demand unit to watch movies and TV shows. Jetstar allows economy passengers 1 piece of 7kg (total) hand luggage and the option to only pay for the checked baggage they require. Select from 15kg to 40kg of checked baggage in 5kg increments, per passenger, per flight
Business Class
Business class seats include extra width and leg room, adjustable lumbar support, a comfort pack which include amenities and in-seat power for your laptop or personal music player. All meals and snacks are included during your flight as well as unlimited access to the beverage bar. Enjoy full access to the Video on Demand units which include a purpose-built headset to reduce any surrounding noise. Business Class allows 20kg of hand luggage and 30kg of checked baggage.
Check-in Options
Jetstar allows passengers to check for international flights at the allocated counters from 3 hours before departure. Check in closes 60 minutes before departure time. Business Class passengers may check in at the dedicated check-in counter for faster service.
Rewards Program
As Jetstar is a subsidiary of Qantas, passengers may earn Frequent Flyer points. Existing Qantas Frequent Flyer members who add a Plus or Max bundle to their Starter Economy Jetstar fare or add a Max bundle to their Business Jetstar fare will earn Qantas Frequent Flyer points and Status credits.
Lounges
All Business Max passengers have access to the Qantas Club (where available), or an associated business lounge, at the international airport they are departing from.
Jetstar also operates a domestic airline.
