Vanuatu holidays during April and June can take advantage of an annual event on the Pentecost Island on each Saturday during these months. The event is based on a legend which sparked the tradition of 'land-diving'. This sport is similar to 'bungee jumping' but different and more daring where men launch themselves from branch towers, and are tied by vines at the ankles as the plummet towards the ground.
