A fascinating tour that enables you to take in a large part of South East Asia at a comfortable pace. In two weeks we cover three countries, giving you the time to sample the various cultures, and the stark contrasts between pristine beaches and hill tribe trekking one moment and the nightlife of the vibrant cities the next. The tour starts on the island of Singapore at the top of the Malay Peninsular, where a walk through Chinatown, Little India and Arab Street is the best way to explore its delights. A night train takes us to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s capital which has a curious blend of the old and the new. Its impressive colonial architecture still stands proudly among the gleaming high-rise office blocks and one of the worlds’ tallest buildings - The Petronas Towers.
