Day 1 Kathmandu
Explore streets filled with prayer flags, discover hole-in-the-wall eateries and get caught up in the zany mix of modernity and time-honoured tradition in Nepal's unique capital.
Day 2 Nuwakot
After a half day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu, journey to the delightful village of Nuwakot and spend a relaxing night in a converted farmhouse.
Day 3 Bandipur
Head West and travel to the village of Bandipur, set at the foothills of the legendary Himalayas. Spend some time exploring the village, visiting ornate temples or taking in the impressive views of the surrounding area.
Day 4 Begnas Lake
Cruise above terraced hillsides en route to the placid shores of Begnas Lake, the perfect place to relax with a good book and wile away the hours.
Days 5-7 Annapurna trek/Pokhara
Strap on those walking shoes and get ready to experience a full day of trekking in the incredible Annapurna Mountain Range. Navigate rural trails used to link remote farming communities and meet the villagers of these isolated communities. Spend the night camping high in the Himalayas and witness a spectacular sunset over the snowcapped peaks. Continue the trek, stopping off at picturesque tea-houses and saying 'Namaste' to smiling farmers along the way. In the afternoon, arrive in Pokhara â“ a hippy haven with a laid back atmosphere and some seriously cool sites to explore.
Days 8-9 Chitwan National Park
Descend from the highlands of the Himalayas and into the steamy jungles of Chitwan â“ the home of the elusive royal Bengal tiger and one-horned rhino. Join a local guide on a park tour, meeting the residents of the Elephant Breeding Center and searching for Gharial crocodiles on a canoe ride.
Days 10-12 Kathmandu
Return to Kathmandu and take some time to hunt out the perfect souvenir in one of the many stalls around Dunbar square. Take a trip to the medival town of Bhaktapur and perhaps end the trip with a farewell feast at a rooftop restaurant.
