Goldfields Information

There are many historic attractions in the region. Sovereign Hill, Central Deborah and the Eureka Centre offere a glimpse of life in the goldrush times in the 1850's and 1860's.

Aside from the gold history the area is full of restaurants and cafes with local produce including grapes, olives, apples and more. There are also many galleries and gardens to explore including tow major art galleries, the Ballarat Fine Art Gallery and the Bendigo Art Gallery.
