Visa & Entry Requirements

Nadi and Suva are the main international airports in Fiji. No visa is required for stays of up to four months for citizens of most countries, including Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the U.S., UK and Ireland and EU countries. You must have a current passport with at least three months validity beyond your departure date and a return or onward airline ticket or proof of onward travel to enter Fiji.

Visitors over the age of twelve are required to pay a FJ$40.00 departure tax which is paid during customs check in. The tax is payable in Fijian currency. This fee is often included in your airline ticket so check this when booking.

The Australian High Commission in Fiji is located at 37 Princes Road, Tamarua, Suva ph: (679) 338 2211. It is possible to register with them online or upon arrival so they can contact you in case of an emergency.
