7. Enjoy the nightlife
Singapore is great by night. Start with a browse through the night markets, followed by a sunset dinner beside or on the river. Then head to Raffles Hotel for a famous Singapore Sling and dance the night away at one of many bars and clubs.

8. Visit the animals at the zoo
Singapore is home to one of the world's top zoos, an %u2018open' zoo where more than 2500 creatures are housed in simulated natural habitats of rock walls, streams and dry and wet moats, instead of cages.

9. Visit Changi Prison Chapel and Museum
The chapel is a replica of the original built by Allied prisoners of war during World War II. The museum houses photos, sketches and personal items dating back to the Japanese occupation from 1942 to 1945.

10. Have fun on Sentosa Island
Take the scenic cable car ride to Sentosa which devotes itself to entertaining guests with a myriad of attractions including museums, gardens, a butterfl y and insect park with more than 3000 species, an underwater marine park, swimming lagoons, golf courses, a large roller-skating rink and more.
