Boboli Gardens

Put on your walking shoes and head to the spectacular Boboli Gardens, just a short walk from the hotel. Wander round the huge Renaissance gardens, which sit behind Pitti Palace, and soak up the relaxing atmosphere as you enjoy endless walkways with ornate fountains and statues from the 16th to 18th Century.

Large forested areas and great views across the city can be found all over Boboli Gardens, which dates back to the 15th Century. Boboli Gardens is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and kick back with a picnic lunch.

The perfect evening stroll

Immerse yourself in the romance of Florence with an evening stroll across the Arno on the ancient Ponte Vecchio. Florence's oldest bridge is one of the city's most photographed sights, maintaining its original medieval design including classic buildings all the way across.

Previously used as butchers, tanners and workshops, in 1593 the Medici Grand Dukes ordered that these buildings be only used by goldsmiths, wanting to promote a cleaner image. As a result of this change, today you can find rows and rows of glittering jewellery shops lining the bridge. At the end of each day the bridge is filled with street entertainers, portraitists and tourists enjoying the vibrant atmosphere and superb views up and down the banks of the Arno.
