With over 300 stalls to choose from, you’re bound to find something unique to take back home.

Experience the past at Sullivan’s Cove

Walk the historic site of Hobart’s first settlement. Bringing over a couple of hundred people from Port Phillip Bay, Lieutenant Governor David Collins established the city in 1804. Not used to the crisper climate, the first year turned out to be a tough one, with many settlers suffering from scurvy and a lack of resources.

Having retained much of its original architecture, Sullivan’s Cove now enjoys a nostalgic atmosphere, attracting visitors from around the globe. Watch the cruise ships pull into the sparkling waterfront, before venturing through the historic docks and piers a little further north. A quick walk from Sullivan's Cove is Hobart's city centre and the famous Salamanca Place.
