Outdoor adventures in Jasper National Park

Situated in Alberta’s Jasper National Park, the breathtaking UNESCO World Heritage site of the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge offers a host of exciting activities in pristine surrounds. Adventure seekers can get their adrenalin pumping by hitting the ski-slopes or racing through white-water on a rafting excursion, while the faint-hearted can try their hand at ice-skating, horseback riding or hiking.

In summer, the lodge’s boathouse on the shores of the stunning Lake Beauvert has paddleboats, canoes and transparent kayaks from which to view the fish and loons beneath. Mountain biking in the summer gives way to tobogganing, snow-mobile riding and dog sledding in the winter. When it's time to relax, the lodge also boasts an award-winning spa ideal for easing those tired muscles after a big day.

Go golfing with a view

The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge golf course is consistently rated as the best resort course in Canada. What better backdrop to tee off to than the snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies? Designed by Stanley Thompson, renowned as Canada’s master course architect, this 18-hole course blends rugged terrain with sweeping landscapes. By using the countryside’s natural contours, the course is a beautil experience and one that should be on every golf lover’s bucket list.

Proper golf attire is required, and all the latest equipment is available for hire. Keep your game going strong with a Jasper Hot Dog at the award-winning 7th Tee Snack Shack. The course is open from May to October.
