Karachi seaside accommodation
Clifton and Defence are two of Karachi’s richest areas, blessed with a prime location right on the waterfront. Hotels in these locations have excellent access to Clifton Beach, which offers horse and camel rides, fine dining, amusement parks and of course the serene Arabian Sea. Next to Clifton Beach are Dolmen City (Karachi’s largest shopping complex) and a splendid park with an underground Hindu temple.
Being an affluent area, there are plenty of opportunities to splurge on hotels including the Movenpick, Marriott and the Pearl Continental, which are all 5 star. You can also stay at Avari Towers, the tallest hotel in Pakistan and a purveyor of modern facilities mixed with traditional luxuries.
Explore the open spaces
Malir is the largest area in Karachi and probably the first part you'll visit, because it has the Jinnah International Airport. Having a large space grants it a more open environment than the rest of the city and if you stay within this area, you can enjoy lush farmland and a close proximity to water parks.
If you want to be right near a water park, stay at the Dreamworld Resort Hotel & Golf Course, which provides guests with numerous activities and well-fitted rooms, as well as access to Dreamworld Resort and the PGA-standard golf course.
Spend less in Karachi
You don’t have to spend a lot to enjoy your stay in Karachi. In fact, there are a number of hotels in the main area that provide comfortable lodgings and generous facilities for a very affordable price. You can save some money and spend it on other entertainment such as at the various shopping malls, restaurants and bars, and on exciting water sports.
For quality accommodation that won’t break your budget, try the Seaview Guest House, which is very cosy and close to attractions. For a little more money, the Beach Luxury Hotel can house you amongst tropical gardens, provide ocean views and give you direct access to the only floating buffet restaurant in Pakistan.
