Enjoy the Mountain Heritage Program
The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise has every right to be proud of its Mountain Heritage Program. Accredited naturalists can take you on half or full-day hiking or canoeing tours and teach you along the way about the area’s wildlife and history. The experiences are tailored to your interests and fitness levels.
On the Voyageur Canoe Experience, you’ll paddle the pristine aquamarine waters of Lake Louise in a cedar strip-and-canvas canoe. You’ll be regaled with stories of the area’s earliest dwellers and explorers. Hikes can be as challenging as you want them to be. One of the most popular is a seven-kilometre hike in Banff National Park. This rewards adventurers with fantastic views and a stop at the lovely Tea House along the way.
