Attractions near the Royal Horseguards

Floating down the River Thames

The Thames has always been the heart of London and taking a cruise along it gives you the perfect vantage point to see many of the city's iconic landmarks. During a cruise, you can encounter fascinating sights including Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, the world-famous Tower Bridge and the London Eye, while hearing stories of the city from your local guide.

There are many cruises to suit all travellers, whether you prefer sightseeing by day, a romantic dinner cruise or live jazz music on the river. Alternatively, you can experience another side of London by exploring the more intimate canals of Camden Lock and Little Venice.

Historic Westminster Abbey

As one of London's most popular destinations, Westminster Abbey welcomes more than one million people every year. The Abbey has been a focal point of Britain's rich royal history and notable cultural events for 700 years. If you didn't get an invite to the last royal wedding, you can see where the action took place with a tour led by a knowledgeable guide.

The Abbey is open six days a week for tours and on Sundays for worship. It's best to arrive early to beat the crowds and if you're visiting in the winter, it's advisable to wrap up in warm clothes.
