Cook up a farm-fresh feast
You can sample the real taste of country cooking with a tour of the Ballymaloe Cookery School Gardens, set on a 40.5-hectare organic farm. The entire garden is managed without the use of pesticides and there are tour guides available to take you around the area while explaining the history and features.
On the tour, you pass through the various areas including the Ornamental Fruit Garden, the Water Garden and the Old Pleasure Garden. You can then use your newfound knowledge during a short course at the Cookery School. Afternoon cooking demonstrations are also held almost every weekday.
