A memorable night at Lido Cabaret

Catch a show at one of Paris’ best cabaret establishments. Rivalling the iconic Moulin Rouge, Lido Cabaret offers a spectacular evening of entertainment right in the heart of the Champs Elysees. The Cabaret’s most-recent show, Bonheur, features an astonishing 23 sets; 80,000 litres of water; 600 costumes; 150,000 sequins; 60,000 crystals and a cast of ultra-talented performers. With so much extravagance, be prepared for a dazzling night out.

For those interested in what goes on behind the scenes, Lido also offers a guided backstage tour, which allows you to delve into the history, mystery and glamour of the cabaret, and teaches you about the work that goes into a typical show each night.

Descend into the Catacombs of Paris

Explore an interesting part of French history with a visit to the Catacombs of Paris. Dating back to the 18th Century, the Catacombs were created to solve the city’s overflowing cemetery problem. Spiralling 20 metres underground and consisting of two kilometres of narrow corridors dug from limestone quarries, the Catacombs hold the remains of around six million Parisians.

Despite their somewhat morbid use, a tour into the Catacombs is a fascinating experience, allowing you to wander past dimly-lit chambers decorated with wall sculptures. You can also read poems about life and death in its galleries.
