With a capacity of up to 6,318 guests and a crew of 2,384, Allure of the Seas is epic in every way. What’s smart, however, is the design, dividing the ship into seven distinct spaces, or neighbourhoods, so that the onboard experience is never overwhelming. Like its sister ships in the Oasis Class, an Allure of the Seas cruise will also introduce you to the captivating Central Park, a unique green-space at sea with a mix of more than 12,000 coastal and sub-tropical plant species from around the world. Allure of the Seas doesn’t stop there, with more highlights to wow you such as two rock-climbing walls, two FlowRider surf simulators, the 25-metre zip line above the Boardwalk, stage shows straight off Broadway, jaw-dropping entertainment in the AquaTheater and so much more. Take a look at our guide to what you can expect on Allure of the Seas cruises, below.

Allure of the Seas Onboard Experiences
Dining and bars
With more than 20 different dining options aboard an Allure of the Seas cruise, you’ll certainly never be bored. The top dining experiences can be found in the Central Park neighbourhood and include 150 Central Park, offering two six-course tasting menus per cruise and giving you the option of a wine pairing; Brazilian-style churrascaria Samba Grill, which serves all-you-can-eat barbecued meats; Chops Grille, Royal Caribbean’s popular steakhouse restaurant; as well as the premium, five-course Chef’s Table concept. Giovanni’s Table Italian trattoria and Mexican restaurant Sabor Taqueria and Tequila Bar are also brimming with tasty meal options. Vintages is the ship’s cosy wine and tapas bar, with other favourites such as Izumi Japanese cuisine all part of the Allure of the Seas offering. Bars and lounges are equally as impressive, with the technologically-advanced Rising Tide bar giving you the chance to enjoy a cocktail as you slowly ascend and descend the height of three decks.
Get set for plenty of adventure aboard your Allure of the Seas cruise. For the adrenalin junkies, top of the list would have to be the 25-metre zip line, soaring nine decks above the Boardwalk neighbourhood, the two FlowRider surf simulators or the indoor ice-skating rink. There are two rock climbing walls offering different tracks and breathtaking views over the back of the ship and the Pool and Sports Zone is all fun with whirlpools, an H2O Zone marked by a giant octopus with water-spraying tentacles and four unique pools including the Beach Pool. If you’re looking for a different type of activity, you could browse through the designer boutiques and their collections by Guess and Coach, attend a wine tasting, take a dance class, or learn how to mix the perfect cocktail.
Kids and families
Cruisers of all ages are treated to a fantastic holiday aboard Allure of the Seas. Not only does Royal Caribbean offer a huge range of family-friendly activities and the award-winning Adventure Ocean program, it continues the super-popular DreamWorks Experience, showcasing characters from Shrek, Madagascar, Kung Fu Panda and more. Dreamworks movies and themed shows are shown during the day, with other onboard action including video arcades, games and the H2O Zone kids’ water park. Adventure Ocean activities start with Royal Babies and Royal Tots, the two programs for the youngest cruisers, and continue on up with separate programs for different age groups. Allure of the Seas also considers families with its variety of family dining options and family-friendly accommodation configurations.
Fitness and wellbeing
If the outdoor pools, rock-climbing walls, FlowRiders, ice-skating rink and zipline aren’t enough to keep you fit and active, it’s good to know you can take care of mind, body and spirit in the Vitality Spa & Fitness Centre aboard Allure of the Seas. Here you’ll find everything from cutting-edge cardio and resistance training to the option of a rejuvenating body wrap or time out in the adults-only Solarium, which is tucked away at the front of the ship. Solarium spans two decks and has a bistro and bar, as well as a tranquil swimming pool and two cantilevered whirlpools suspended above the waves. Pick up the menu for The Vitality Spa and select the pampering of your choice, from massages, wraps, facials, and hair and nail treatments, to acupuncture and Botox. If you’re cruising aboard Allure of the Seas, one thing’s for sure: there’s no shortage of ways to look after your wellbeing.
Shows and nightlife
From Broadway musicals at sea to dramatic feats of acrobatic prowess – there are so many ways to be entertained aboard Allure of the Seas. For those who love a musical, you won’t be disappointed by the productions performed in the 1,380-seater Amber Theatre, coming straight from the likes of Broadway or the West End. Then there’s the incredible amphitheater-style AquaTheater located at the ship’s stern, which showcases daring acrobatics, synchronized swimming, water ballet and high-diving performances all set to music and lights. Other entertainment highlights include the jazz lounge, the expansive Casino Royale, live stand-up comedy, ice-skating shows, piano sing-a-longs in the Schooner Bar and more.
Aboard Allure of the Seas, staterooms can be divided into four categories: Royal Suite Class, Balcony, Ocean View and Interior. One characteristic of ships within Royal Caribbean’s Oasis Class is the opportunity for a different kind of view thanks to the unique ‘neighbourhoods’ – you may wish to book a cabin overlooking the lush Central Park area or the breezy Boardwalk, while sea views remain the most private option. Suites are top of the list when it comes to luxury, with the majority of suites offering multiple rooms and balconies.
Services and accessibility
Allure of the Seas has all the features necessary to ensure that every passenger can relax on the cruise and enjoy total piece of mind. These features include gangways wide enough accommodate most wheelchairs and mobility scooters, wider doors, lift access on every deck, plus an accessible route to the tendering platform. Allure of the Seas has 46 accessible staterooms and all of these are well appointed with fittings such as lower wardrobe hanging rails and a fold-down shower bench. There is forward and rear wheelchair seating in the Amber Theatre, Studio B and the AquaTheater, a lower bar counter in Boleros, lower playing tables in the Casino, as well as Braille/tactile public room signage, lift buttons, stateroom numbers and deck numbers on staircase handrails.
