Even before you board Oasis of the Seas, the sheer scale of this ship will overwhelm you. It’s like a floating mini-city, complete with its very own green space. And, like any city, Oasis of the Seas even comes with neighbourhoods – one of its most unique features. On an Oasis of the Seas cruise, you’ll find seven different themed areas, including the revolutionary Central Park – a unique outdoor space containing more than 12,000 live plants. Other highlights include the two FlowRider surf simulators, two rock-climbing walls, the zipline, the incredible Rising Tide bar – an engineering marvel that enables you to enjoy a cocktail as you slowly ascend and descend the height of three decks, and the first beach pool at sea. Not surprisingly, the bars, dining and entertainment is equally larger than life. Check out our guide to what you can expect on Oasis of the Seas cruises, below.

Dining and bars
With 24 different dining options aboard an Oasis of the Seas cruise, you’ll have your very own culinary journey-within-a-journey to look forward to. For the most high-end dining experience, head to 150 Central Park for a mouth-watering six-course dinner menu, with wine pairings also available. Oasis of the Seas prides itself on offering something great to eat, 24/7, and there are loads of casual eateries such as Windjammer Marketplace, Wipe Out cafe and the Boardwalk Dog House for hotdogs to choose from. Favourites such as Chops Grille American steakhouse and Giovanni’s Table Italian restaurants are here, as well as additional offerings such as Mexican restaurant Sabor Taqueria and Tequila Bar. Other bars and lounges include the Champagne Bar, the Schooner Bar and the must-try Rising Tide Bar.
There are so many different things to do aboard Oasis of the Seas, you’ll never come up short on options. The most adrenaline-charged would have to be the 25-metre zip line, soaring nine decks above the Boardwalk neighbourhood, or the two FlowRider surf simulators. Then again, the two rock-climbing walls will also get your heart racing, as you scale the 13-metre high terrain. If you’re after a different kind of action, take a dance class, attend a beer tasting or learn how to mix the perfect cocktail. You could also browse through the designer boutiques and their collections by Michael Kors, Kate Spade New York, Coach and more. Stretching the full length of Deck 15, the Pool and Sports Zone on Oasis of the Seas is the ultimate playground, with four unique pools, ten whirlpools, an H2O kids’ Aqua Park, sports court and mini golf.
Kids and families
An Oasis of the Seas cruise will be an unforgettable experience for cruisers of all ages, with Royal Caribbean’s extensive offering of family-friendly activities as well as the award-winning Adventure Ocean program for children from tots to teens. Oasis of the Seas continues the super-popular DreamWorks Experience, showcasing characters from Shrek, Madagascar, Kung Fu Panda and giving kids the chance to have some fun meet-and-greet experiences. Dreamworks movies are also shown in the 3D cinema, there are games onboard, as well as a merry-go-round at the Boardwalk. Adventure Ocean activities start with Royal Babies and Royal Tots, the two programs for the youngest cruisers, and continue on up with separate programs for different age groups. Consideration for families aboard Oasis of the Seas includes family dining options and family-friendly accommodation configurations as well.
Fitness and wellbeing

In Solarium you’ll find a tranquil swimming pool, two serene whirlpools and two cantilevered whirlpools suspended over 40 metres above the waves, offering expansive views of the sea all around. The Vitality Spa & Fitness Centre gives you a menu of unique spa treatments and innovative fitness options including including massages, wraps, facials, and hair and nail treatments, as well as gravity trainers, stationary bikes and the Omega Kinesis Wall – a panel of grips, cables and weights that enable hundreds of circuit-training exercises. If you’re cruising aboard Oasis of the Seas, one thing’s for sure: there’s no shortage of ways to take care of your health and wellbeing.
Shows and nightlife
The entertainment aboard Oasis of the Seas will absolutely dazzle you. Located at the ship’s stern, the dramatic amphitheater-style AquaTheater showcases world-class acrobatics, synchronized swimming, water ballet and high-diving performances all set to music and lights. Other options designed to wow include one of the hottest nightclubs at sea for everyone who likes to hit the dancefloor, award-winning Broadway musicals, live stand-up comedy, ice-skating shows, the thrilling Casino Royale, karaoke and more. If something more laid back appeals, make your way to the Schooner Bar where you’ll find a piano and, on most nights, a happy sing-a-long.
Staterooms aboard Oasis of the Seas can be divided into four main categories: Royal Suite Class, Balcony, Ocean View and Interior. The unique ‘neighbourhoods’ aboard Oasis of the Seas provide the opportunity for a different kind of view, such as overlooking the lush Central Park or the Boardwalk, while sea views remain the most private option. Suites are the most luxurious of the cabins, with most suites offering multiple rooms and balconies. Loft suites are spread over two floors, with floor-to-ceiling views opening out to a balcony. The Royal Loft Suite is the most spacious cabin aboard Oasis of the Seas and can accommodate up to six people. All staterooms come with private bathroom, vanity area, hair dryer, interactive TV and phone.
