Top five reasons to cruise on the Superstar Virgo
- Water Park
One of the ship’s biggest attractions is the 100 metre stainless steel water slide which twists over the edge of the cruise ship and is suspended four stories above the water. Needless to say kids will love this one!
- At Play
Kids aren’t the only ones who can have fun on the Superstar Virgo. Sing up a storm at the Out of Africa karaoke room, bust a move at the Celebrity Disco and play a round of games at The Mahjong Room and The Oasis.
- Big Games
For some more family friendly games, head to the Amphitheatre where you’ll find a Jumbo chess board, Jumbo checkers and table tennis.
Whether you prefer to slide, swim or sunbath, the Superstar Virgo has a range of pool options to choose from. The outdoor Parthenon Pool is where the waterslide is, along with four spas, while the Aqaswim is an indoor swim against the current, exercise pool.
- Beauty on Board
Look your best for a night out and about or enjoy a pamper session at Oscar's Hair and Beauty Salon.
Star passengers can enjoy up to six meals a day as part of the inclusive Freestyle Dining experience, and have the option of visiting a range of speciality restaurants and eateries as well. Restaurants representing the cruise line's Asian heritage are excellent and plentiful, with Japanese, Chinese, Southeast Asian and Indian cuisine (including the only certified Halal Indian restaurant at sea). In addition you'll find international dining venues, Italian fusion a la carte dining, continental buffets, BBQ restaurants, poolside bars and more. You don't need to go hungry on a Star cruise as the Blue Lagoon serves mouth-watering Southeast Asian and international cuisine 24 hours a day.
There are plenty of casual dining outlets to please the entire family, in cafés, ice cream parlours and poolside bars. Enjoy a real Italian gelato or fresh fruit juice or just chill out poolside with an icy cold soft drink and delicious snack. Adults can relax in the elegant surroundings of the Bellini Champagne Bar.
Onboard restaurants are spacious and can accommodate all guests during the dining period. Freestyle Cruising enables passengers to book either an early, normal or late sitting. If you prefer a quieter meal time, choose an early or late sitting as these are less busy than the normal sitting. Balcony Class passengers have the option of dining a la carte in the ship's main restaurant, or in select speciality restaurants. Admiral Class passengers enjoy the same privileges in addition to priority meal reservations and an exclusive invitation to the Captain's Table.
