Prague is not only the capital and largest city of the Czech Republic, but a significant centre within Europe. Once you're in the city centre, walk to the famous Charles Bridge which connects the Old Town with Lesser Town, over the Vltava River. Gothic in style, the bridge is lined with Baroque statues which are said to give good luck if you touch them.
