Day 1 Darwin to Litchfield National Park, 106 kms.Depart Darwin and head south on the Stuart Highway before turning onto Cox Peninsula Road towards Berry Springs. Stop at Berry Springs Nature Park for a refreshing swim in its crystal-clear waterholes, offering a taste of the natural beauty ahead. Continue along Cox Peninsula Road and take a left onto Litchfield Park Road, leading you to the breathtaking waterfalls of Litchfield National Park.
Among the park's many stunning waterfalls, Florence Falls and Wangi Falls stand out as favourites, ideal for swimming, picnicking, and short scenic walks. While most attractions are accessible by 2WD, adventure seekers can take on the 4WD-only Reynolds River Track. For an extended challenge, experienced bushwalkers can tackle the 39km Tabletop Track circuit. Alternatively, enjoy world-class fishing at Dundee Beach or Crab Claw Island.

Day 2 to 3 Litchfield National Park to Kakadu National Park, 194 kms.Depart Litchfield and drive to the northern entrance of Kakadu, stopping at the Bowali Visitor Centre in Jabiru. Note that a park pass is required for entry and can be purchased online beforehand.
