"We have trekked and hiked many places (Nepal, NZ, South America to name a few) and this has been our favourite trek by far. The views of the Mont Blanc massif were just so incredibly stunning and right in your face. Walking through wild flower fields and gravel trodden paths it really is one of the best hikes in the world you will ever do. You don't have to be super fit to do it either although recommended training will help you but we had plenty of rest stops on a couple of the steeper climbs. The refuges where we stayed every night had absolutely unbelievable views to the mountains and beyond. The food was delicious and Max our guide was an absolute champion! Walking through villages with our red packed mule was a highlight too. We highly recommend this trip."

I highly recommend the Loire Valley Bike and Barge adventure offered by UTracks. Besides seeing incredible countryside, vineyards, historic villages, churches and chateaus, the camaraderie of our group and leadership by our guide Wim made this one of the best adventures of my life. I look forward to booking another great adventure with UTracks!"

""Delightful" is the word that kept playing through my mind during my bike/barge trip from Ghent to Amsterdam. The scenery, the people, the food, the villages, the barge ... everything was absolutely charming. I smiled the entire route. Our crew and guide were fantastic and added so many special touches. I will definitely do another bike/barge trip. It was a wonderful way to explore a new region and an enjoyable, relaxing vacation."

"It was simply magic to be riding through three totally different countries, taking in the picturesque countryside and hearing the history of so many of the places that we rode through from our guide Romas – he has such interesting and wide knowledge of the countries which made the trip as much of a sightseeing trip as it was a bike tour, and I personally can't thank him enough. I truly hadn't realised what beautiful countries all three are. The riding was, as the trip notes said, introductory to moderate – some people had not been on a bike for some time but managed the trip just fine – just one hill which tested the best of us! It was fine to get off the bike and walk and I did!! When travelling long distances we merely hopped in our comfortable bus and relaxed in comfort and listened to Romas' commentary. Our days were filled with beautiful vistas of country and coastal areas, medieval towns, castles, churches, museums – so many memories to take away with us all. We were assured of a good night’s sleep in excellent accommodation with more than adequate breakfasts to get us on the road for another day’s adventure of riding in the Baltic countries. This was a fabulous tour, I loved every day of it, and I would say to anyone considering the tour – JUST DO IT!!"

"We had an extremely enjoyable experience on this tour. Not only did we challenge ourselves physically but we met some amazing people who also enriched our experience. The cuisine on the ship was beyond our expectations and the crew and guides were both helpful and accommodating."

"I recently went on the Best of the Camino guided trip. It was excellent. The guide was excellent – his local knowledge really increased our understanding of the history of the Camino and the area. Hotels and food were excellent. The group was highly enjoyable and got on well. The pace of the tour was just right. The individuals in the group on the hikes each day were allowed to find their own pace so as much enjoyment as possible was had by all. There was enough time to also be a tourist in the towns we visited which also increased the feeling of a holiday mood. Overall it is a great trip to do and I would recommend it to those considering it."

"A pleasing combination of walking and bus travel in a wonderful rural area of France. Under the guidance of Mary Moody we walked the hills, and the cobble stoned streets of some historic and beautiful villages. Le Puy en Velay and the volcanic countryside surrounding is a wonderful sight to behold. Conques, Cahors and Rocamadour were magical destinations. Mary very generously gave us an insight into living in rural France, taking us to her local market, to lunch at a local restaurant, and then giving us afternoon tea at her village house in Frayssinet-le-Gelat. The end destination of Biarritz came too soon."
