Business travellers departing the Brisbane International Airport now have a new lounge experience to test out. What's better, there's no membership required. The Plaza Premium Lounge held a soft opening of its newest lounge last month, marking the first in Australia for the global brand.
Operating on a pay-per-visit system, all travellers are welcome to take advantage of the many facilities available. The lounge has been designed with the brand's philosophy of providing service excellence through perfectly tailored features. The result is an intuitive layout filled with light thanks to an abundant use of glass that also happens to frame engaging views over the runway. Rustic interiors aim to promote a warm and inviting ambience complete with Victorian Ash feature walls, marble flooring and plush wool carpets imported from New Zealand.

There is plenty of comfortable seating, with options for both work and relaxation. This includes unique honeycomb workstations complete with electrical outlets for charging devices. And of course, complimentary WiFi is available. There are shower facilities onsite, and plans are in the works to open an adjoining spa in the coming months. For an extra fee, guests will be able to choose from a menu of treatments, including seated massages.
If you're feeling a bit peckish prior to takeoff, buffet style dining is available with sweet and savoury choices. Or choose from a selection of pasta or noodle dishes prepared on the spot by in-house chefs. As for the beverage list, choose from barista coffee, a selection of beer on tap and top regional wines.
Located on level four of the International Terminal, entry is available in a five-hour package for the cost of $66 (at time of writing).
Plaza Premium is all too familiar with providing passengers with a premium lounge experience, with 12 locations around the world. This includes Abu Dhabi, Hong Kong, London Heathrow, Singapore and Vancouver.
