United To Fly Non-Stop To Xi'an

United Airlines has announced the world's first direct trans-Pacific flight to the Shaanxi Province's capital city. United plans to offer three flights a week, starting May 8, 2016 and tickets for the first departures are now available for reservation.

The route between San Francisco International Airport and Xi'an's Xianyang International Airport, will be serviced via Boeing 787 Dreamliner. The westbound journey will take approximately 12 hours, 55 minutes while eastbound, the flight will be a little shorter at 12 hours and five minutes.
