For many rock climbers, the cliff hang is easily one of the most exhilarating moments of any climb.
Whether upside down, back to the wall Ethan Hunt style or the traditional wall-facing hang, it's a testing moment of physical and mental fortitude.
However, some places prove better than the rest for cliff hangs, purely due to the spectacular vistas that greet anyone brave enough to stop and take it all in.
Here are our 7 favourite spots, so long as you're not afraid to look down.
1. Mt Temple, Canada
2. Yosemite National Park, USA
3. Kalymnos, Greece
4. Flatanger, Norway
5. Mt Aripiles, Victoria
6. Yunnan, China
7. Cape Hauy, Tasmania
