The place where dreams come true - Disney World is not just for youngsters. Recently Sara Puglia and Dane Brocas, international wholesale consultants, flew across to Orlando to live out their own childhood fantasies.  Sara recommends dedicating at least five days to fully exploring all the areas within the complex including the two water parks and the four theme parks.

"There is so much to see and do, that you can easily make Disney World the focus of your entire holiday. And the resorts, within the complex, are amazing with terrific facilities. If you're staying at Disney World, there's the Disneyworld Magical Express - a themed shuttle that takes travellers direct from the airport to their hotel. So really your Disney holiday begins the moment you arrive in Orlando," said Sara.

Pluto Dancing, Magic Kingdom

"At the Magic Kingdom, they have these dance parties set up all over the theme park. All the popular Disney characters come out and dance with everyone in the street. It creates a really good atmosphere. I loved getting in there and having a dance with them - especially with Pluto," said Sara.

Dumbo the Flying Elephant

"This is the Dumbo ride - which is one of the most popular rides in Magic Kingdom. Because it's so popular, they have two Dumbo rides side by side - this means you don't have to queue very long. After doing the ride the first time, I snuck back and did it again. Once just wasn't enough. Near the ride, they have a Dumbo where you can have photos taken," said Sara.

Minnie Mouse at Disney's Beach Club Hotel

"At breakfast the characters wander around so that you can have your photo taken with them. Minnie looked sensational in her beach attire. There was also Goofy and Donald but I only had a photo with Minnie because she took a particular fancy to me," said Dane.

Fireworks over Cinderella's Castle

"Every night in Magic Kingdom there's a street party. They have a big parade with Disney characters on the floats. After the procession, there's a fantastic sound and light show against Cinderella's Castle that finishes with fireworks. It's such a magical end to a fairytale day," said Sara.

Fireworks over Cinderella's Castle

"The fireworks were pretty amazing. They go for about 20 minutes. They do it every single night - it's such an extravaganza. Tinkerbell flew down from the castle and then all the fireworks start. The technology they use is unbelievable," said Dane.

Statue of Pongo, Disney's All-Star Movies Resort

"I stayed here for two nights. Every room has a theme - from the Lion King to the Cars movie. But Finding Nemo and the Little Mermaid would have to be the most popular. Outside each section are these incredible statues and the balconies also have the themed decorations. This is really good for young families because the kids love it," said Sara.

Epcot

"This looks like a big golf ball  but it's actually at Epcot - Experimental Prototype City Of Tomorrow - one of the theme parks at Disney World. This is a technology based theme park. It's all about what the future might bring. I went into a contraption that simulated flying up to Mars - I felt the g-force. You can also design your own car, pick your engine, colour and what it looks like; and then you can test drive it," said Sara.

The Magic of Disney Animation, Hollywood Studios

"This attraction shows the magic of how they animate the characters. It's great for anyone that wants a behind the scenes glimpse into the animation process. You meet the animators and they teach you how to draw the characters. You can really see the magic come to life," said Dane.

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Hollywood Studios

"This is the Tower of Terror - it's definitely one of the most popular rides at Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park. It's a full on experience - part haunted house, part ride," said Sara.

American Idol Experience

"There's an American Idol studio where you can be part of the studio audience and watch people audition for the show. There are real judges and a host. The person that wins each hour is given the opportunity to return in the evening for the final show. The contestant who wins at the final is given a golden ticket to audition for the actual television show. Some singers who made it all the way to the live television shows started here in Disney World," said Sara.
