Don Your Boardies For Surf Life Savers + 11 Beaches You'd Rather Be At This Friday

26 March 2015

Did you know that a huge majority of our Surf Life Savers are volunteers who work on their weekends to keep our beaches safe? Now if that isn’t the definition of an Aussie legend I don’t know what is!

Tomorrow, Friday 27 March is ‘National Boardies Day’, a day where you can ditch your business pants and don your boardies for the day in aid of supporting Surf Life Saving. Board shorts wearers are encouraged to donate directly to their local SLS club or online through the Surf Life Saving Foundation.

We figured while you’re sitting at your desk in your board shorts, you’ll be thinking of your next beach fix, so here are our top 11 beaches from where you’d rather be. Maybe next National Boardies Day you can be hitting the beach instead of the boardroom!
