When you're visiting a city for the first time, there's nothing better than getting tips from a local beyond the usual guide book suggestions!

We asked Steve Napolitano, president at Bottle Logic Brewing, for his insider scoop on Anaheim including where to eat, drink and play, along with a cool day trip from the city.

The Ranch – This great restaurant melds fine dining with a classic steakhouse vibe. Just next door is Orange County’s largest line-dancing hall and saloon.

Hammer Workshop & Bar – This bar has some of the most dedicated mixologists I’ve ever seen. Whether you’re looking for a well-made classic cocktail or want to experiment with a new flavour, you can’t go wrong here.

Downtown Disney – Downtown Disney is not just for kids; it offers a wide variety of bars, restaurants and shops while still keeping you near the excitement of the theme parks.
