More To Love: Stirring Instagrams Of Queensland's Tropical North

17 April 2015

This week five Aussie instagrammers flew to Tropical North Queensland to explore one of the few places in Australia where the rainforest meets the reef.

Follow our journey from Mission Beach, through the Atherton tablelands, Cairns, Port Douglas, Mossman Gorge, the Daintree rainforest and right up to Cape Tribulation on instagram under the hashtags #exploreTNQ or #openmyworld.

It all started with a helicopter ride over the Great Barrier Reef and the secluded sand islands that surround it, later landing and scuba diving deep into the coral gardens that teemed with sea life of all shapes, sizes and colours.

Next we ventured deep into the lush rainforest west of Cairns to uncover some of the locals' favourite watering holes, like Fairy Falls, Crystal Cascades and Stoney Creek.
