Stephanie Kuang, of Taylors Hill, Victoria, recently won a Flight Centre travel voucher valued at $15,000 after she entered the draw at the National Travel Expo competition in February. Juggling full-time work and motherhood is busy, so when she heard that she had won a prize she was over the moon. The last holiday the family took was two years ago, when they flew with Jetstar to Auckland, so they are very excited about the opportunity to go somewhere further away.

"I was so surprised - I didn't believe that people actually do win these prizes, but really proves to me that good things really do happen to good people. We had been thinking about a trip to Hong Kong, so that’s first on our list, and we have always dreamed of taking our three-year old daughter to Disneyland, New York and Las Vegas in the USA, so we'll do that later in the year," said Stephanie.

Flight Centre's team of travel experts have put their thinking hats on to come up with a list of interesting ways to blow a $15,000 travel budget.

Fly First Class to London with Qantas
Treat yourself to a first class ticket to London, aboard Qantas' A380 aircraft. This will set you back around $13,864* per person, including taxes, depending on the time of year you wish to travel and your city of departure.

Cruise the World on board Cunard's Queen Elizabeth
Cover most continents on a world cruise aboard Cunard's Queen Elizabeth ocean liner. A 72-night voyage will cost you $12,604*, although there are many itineraries, departing from Southampton in the United Kingdom. This one visits New York, Florida, Aruba, Costa Rica, Panama, San Francisco, Hawaii, Tonga, New Zealand, Australia, Papua New Guinea, Japan, South Korea and China.

Rent a Private Beach Front Villa in Bali
Rent an entire house or a group of private villas overlooking the beach in Bali or Honolulu for the week, and invite your friends to enjoy cocktails and canapés with you at sunset. Alila Villas Soori on the west coast of Bali offers a luxurious 10-bedroom villa, called The Soori Estate, which is perfect for groups of friends or weddings. Here, you can indulge in complete privacy with butlers to take care of your every need and be spoilt with personalised meals, made exclusively for you by the chef in your own kitchen. The total price for the villa is $10,000* per night, based on 20 people.

Stay in an Over-Water Villa in The Maldives
Have a James Bond experience in the Maldives at the adults-only six-star Conrad Maldives Rangali Island Resort. Couples can stay in a Sunset Water Villa, perched over water in a private lagoon with a glass-bottom living room, and have access to their own speedboat, infinity pool and private butler. Accommodation starts from $4,500* per villa per night, so couples could squeeze in three nights for a little more than $13,500*.

Take a Safari in Africa
Take flight in a private aircraft above Africa’s Great Rift Valley and Masai Mara Game Reserve. This air safari experience and seven nights’ accommodation at a 5-star luxury safari lodge, with private game drives and some meals will cost you around $4,000 to $5,000* per person twin share.

*prices are subject to change and availability at the time of purchase.
