Admiring the view, whether man-made or Mother Nature, is always a cherished travel moment. In fact, an incredible view can stick in your mind well after your holiday is finished, calling back to the fond memories of time well spent. Here are 10 hotels that demonstrate just how powerful a good view can be.

Shangri-La Hotel Paris – Paris, France

Best view: It can be hard to pick a 'best' view in this wonderful hotel, but La Suite is certainly near the top, featuring full walls of glass offering panoramic views of the Eiffel Tower and surrounding city.

The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise – Alberta, Canada
'Majestic' seems like an understatement when describing this luxury mountain resort. Le Sirenuse – Positano, Italy
This boutique hotel is situated on the beautiful Amalfi Coast approximately 50 kilometres from Naples in the charming village of Positano. A variety of rooms, suites and junior suites all feature a private terrace or balcony, with white-washed walls, vaulted ceilings and hand-made tile floors. Almost all of them also feature stunning views over Positano Bay, where the sloping mountains give way to deep blue waters.

Mandarin Oriental At Citycenter Las Vegas – Nevada, USA
A statement in urban development, the Mandarin Oriental at CityCenter is a beautiful hotel clad in glass. In fact, it's these oversized windows that set this hotel apart from the other luxury resorts of Las Vegas, offering incredible 180 degree views over the famed Strip and desert beyond. It would be difficult to find a place in the hotel that doesn't maximise on these beautiful views.
Best view: For the more budget conscious, a Strip View Room delivers on its name with opulent interiors and floor-to-ceiling glass looking over the neon lights of the Strip. If you want to experience the full luxury package, there are also seven suites to choose from. Each offers individual style and amazing outlooks.

Gran Hotel La Florida – Barcelona, Spain
Perched over the surrounding city on Tibidabo's Hill, the Gran Hotel La Florida sets the standard for premium accommodation in Barcelona. It has been known for its incredible views since 1924 when Doctor Andreu had a vision to build 'the best hotel in Barcelona'.
