Hong Kong Disney: The Complete Guide

There’s nowhere quite as magical as Disneyland. Hong Kong Disneyland offers the ultimate family adventure out of the city when in Hong Kong. Simply hop aboard a scenic ferry, or jump on the bullet train and you’ll leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind for the wonder of Disney’s most magical worlds. Here is your guide to what to see at the park.

Where, when, how:

Hong Kong Disneyland is located on Lantau Island, and accessible from the city by bus, MTR rail, ferry, taxi services and car. Ferries take around 20 minutes one way, while buses and trains take 30 minutes.

Sunday - Thursday: 10:30am - 8:00pm

Friday & Saturday: 10:30am - 10:00pm

Seven lands

Explore different worlds at Hong Kong Disneyland with seven distinct districts. Adventureland is where you can discover Tarzan’s Treehouse, a jungle river cruise and journey to Halloween Town amongst other things. In Fantasyland jump aboard the Cinderella Carousel, experience the Fairy Tale Forest and go on an adventure with Winnie the Pooh.

In Grizzly Gulch, have some wild west photo fun, and take a ride on the Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars. In Main Street USA you can explore the art of animation and head into the Royal Princess Garden. At Mystic Point enter the Garden of Wonders and Mystic Manor, while Tomorrowland is home to Iron Man, Orbitron and everything Star Wars!  


From stage shows to parades to character experiences, Hong Kong Disneyland has entertainment for everyone. Go for a classic and meet mickey and Minnie at Town Square, or immerse yourself in Disney’s Paint the Night Parade. Meet Moana at Adventureland and Tinker Bell at Fairy Tale Forest. Enjoy street entertainment at Tomorrowland, enjoy Star Wars entertainment, and Toy Story fun and plenty more!

Having fun with your favourite Disney characters makes for thirsty work! When you need a break to refuel, there are myriad options to choose from. Restaurants onsite serve up Chinese, asian, American and Indian dishes, so you’re bound to find something to suit everyone in the family.

Stay at Hong Kong Disneyland

There are three unique accommodation options, including the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel, Disney’s Hollywood Hotel, and Disney Explorers Lodge.
