**UPDATE 6/4**Cyclone Debbie has not quite died out yet and today will be bringing rain and gale force winds to parts of the South Island of New Zealand. Many areas of the North Island were inundated over the past few days which resulted in widespread flooding, rockfalls and landslides. Today the Canterbury region is expected to receive up to a month's worth of rain in one day.
