Pura Ulun Siwi is one of the local temples in Bali and probably the most popular in Jimbaran Bay. It dates back to the 18th-Century and has an ebony-hued appearance that suits the traditional Balinese architecture.
On most days the temple sits silently and is predominantly visited for a photo opportunity or to learn a bit more about Bali's religious culture. The best time to visit Pura Ulun Siwi would be on a holy day when the temple comes alive with incense, offerings, traditional performances and more.
Pura Ulun Siwi can be found in the middle of Jimbaran Bay nearby a local market, which we recommend visiting before or afterwards.
