Opened in 2006, the Museum Pasifika contains an impressive collection of the Asian Pacific region's cultural artefacts, spanning several centuries of history and tradition. This is a particularly large museum for Bali's standards, with more than 10 rooms dedicated to various themes and nationalities.
As you walk through the museum, you'll move from room to room first admiring Indonesian artwork, then Italian, Dutch, French and so on. All up you can see more than 600 pieces of art by 200 artists from 25 different countries. Not bad for a small Indonesian island!
Entry to the Museum Pasifika costs about 70,000Rp.
