Itinerary

  • Welcome aboard this 8-day cruise navigating from Civitavecchia to Nice, taking in the coastal charm of the French and Italian Rivieras. Along this enchanting European journey, glimpse dramatic coastal cliffs clustered with pastel villas, taste some of the freshest seafood in the world and dive into a pristine ocean cave. Visit a seaside port farmed for Italian Carrara marble, peek inside a gothic church on a rocky headland and enjoy the glitz and glamour of Monaco. Our unforgettable cruise finishes in Nice on the French Riviera.

    Day 1 Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy

Your deluxe cruise begins in Civitavecchia, the main seaport of Rome, where you'll be transferred to your Emerald Cruises luxury yacht and begin your journey along the French and Italian Rivieras.
Please book your flight to arrive into Rome prior to 3:00PM. (D)

    Day 2 Calvi, France

According to local legend, Calvi is where the intrepid global explorer, Christopher Columbus, was born. Wile historians debate this, the natural beauty and rich culture of Calvi is undisputed. Calvi's beach is a sweeping bay of powdered white sand fringed by maritime pines, and the town has emerged as Corsica's culture 'capital', hosting several music festivals over the summer months. (B, L, D)

    Day 3 Livorno, Italy

The bustling port city of Livorno on the western coast of Tuscany is renowned for its scenic beauty and delicious seafood. It has a modern seaport and picturesque views of the Mediterranean. The city's culinary scene is heavily influenced by its seaside location, offering dishes like 'cacciucco', a traditional fish stew that's a must-try for every visitor. (B, L, D)

Day 4 Marina di Carrara, Italy

This seaside village is famed for the pure, pale Italian marble that is mined and quarried from the nearby mountains. The marble has been used for some of the most important artistic wonders of the world, such as Michelangelo's David. The glimmering marble-threaded mountains contrast again the coastal scenery of Marina di Carrara. (B, L, D)

Day 5 Marina di Carrara, Italy to Porto Venere, Italy

We set sail early in the morning to reach Porto Venere. This UNESCO World Heritage site boasts great swimming spots beloved also by the iconic poet Lorn Byron for swimming and meditating in the early 1800s. One of Porto Venere's most striking features is the gothic Church of St. Peter, perched atop a rocky headland overlooking the sea. (B, L, D)

Day 6 Santa Margherita, Italy to Portofino, Italy

Santa Margherite Ligure is an Italian resort town with panoramic views, revered for its timeless elegance and style. IF you are seeking la dolce vita, you will find it here in abundance. Stroll the Santa Margerite promenade, or the pebbly beachfront admiring the sailboats. Explore a beautiful Baroque church or sample the local red shrimp.
We will cruise to Portofino later in the morning. Perched on the Italian Riviera, Portofino has a rich culinary scene, a pictureque harbour and narrow streets lined with pastel-hued houses, high-end boutiques and seafood restaurants. (B, L, D)

    Day 7 Monte Carlo, Monaco

The City-state of Monaco, known as the Principality of Monaco, is renowned worldwide for its luxury and glamour, with high-end casinos, yacht lined harbour, prestigious Grand Prix motor race, and the famous Monte Carlo district. It's home to several museums andhosts numerous cultural events throughout the year, celebrating everything from music and dance to theatre and visual arts.
