The main difference between a physical Flight Centre Gift Card and an e-Gift Card is that one will live in your real-life wallet and the other will live in your digital wallet! Apart from that, they work the same way. Both can be used at any Flight Centre store within Australia and for booking either flights or hotel stays on our website. 

Buying a Flight Centre Gift Card couldn’t be easier! You can either buy a Gift Card online or visit your local Travel Expert to purchase in-store. When buying online, you’ll receive an e-Gift Card sent straight to your email address. If purchasing in-store, you’ll be able to choose between a physical Flight Centre Gift Card and an e-Gift Card. 

Need to check how much potential travel you’ve got left on your Flight Centre Gift Card so you can book that next trip? No worries! You can check your card’s balance in a few clicks online or ask your Travel Expert to check for you in-store. Just make sure you have your Gift Card number and PIN handy as you’ll need this when checking your balance! 

You can use your Flight Centre Gift Card to book travel at any  Flight Centre store within Australia  and when booking flights  and  hotel stays  with us online.  

Currently, Flight Centre Gift Cards can only be used for online bookings containing either flights or hotel stays. If your purchase contains both flights and hotel stays, you’ll need to make two separate online bookings or come and see us in-store to pay using your Gift Card. Trying to book holiday packages, cruises, tours, insurance and more? Simply visit your local Travel Expert in-store and they’ll be able to help you book the trip of your dreams using your Gift Card! 

You can book your entire holiday with a Flight Centre Gift Card – everything from flights, accommodation and travel insurance to cruises, tours and car hire! Once you’re ready to make your next trip official, visit your local Travel Expert in-store to redeem your Gift Card or you can book either flights or hotel stays yourself online today.  

You sure can! If the balance of your Flight Centre Gift Card isn’t enough to cover the total cost of your travel plans, you can use an alternative payment method – including another Gift Card – to pay for the rest of the booking. It’s possible to redeem up to five Gift Cards in a single online or in-store transaction, but keep in mind if you’re booking flights or hotel stays online your booking must contain only one or the other if you want to pay using your Flight Centre Gift Card. 

Absolutely! If your Flight Centre Gift Card balance is less than your total booking cost, you’ll need to use another payment method to cover the rest of your trip. More information on accepted payment methods is available in our Help Centre. 

Yes, unless otherwise stated, Flight Centre Gift Cards are valid for 36 months (three years) from the date of purchase. We’re pretty confident you’ll find a trip that tickles your fancy in that time! Make sure you use your Gift Card before it expires because it won't be possible to get a credit or refund on any unused balances.
