Upper Class 'suites' are configured in either a 1-1-1 or 1-2-1 layout, depending on the aircraft, meaning that all seats have direct access to the aisle. With no set meal times, passengers are welcome to order from the gourmet 'Freedom Menu' any time during the flight. All meals are freshly prepared and served on china plates. Economy passengers are allowed 1 piece of 6kg hang luggage and 2 pieces of 25kg (each) checked baggage when travelling to Delhi (from London), the US, Kenya, Nigeria and Ghana. For all other destinations Economy passengers are allowed 1 piece of 25kg checked baggage. Premium Economy passengers are allowed 1 piece of 6kg hang luggage and 3 pieces of 25kg (each) checked baggage when travelling to Delhi (from London) the US, Kenya, Nigeria and Ghana. For all other destinations Premium Economy passengers are allowed 2 pieces of 25kg checked baggage. Upper Class passengers are allowed 2 pieces of 16kg (total) hang luggage and 3 pieces of 32kg (each) checked baggage.
Passengers can check in online from 24 hours until 2 hours prior to departure time. Mobile check-in is also now available, and can be done between 24 hours and 2 hours prior to departure. Passengers can also use self-service kiosks to check in at selected airports in the UK and USA. For standard check-in, it is recommended passengers arrive 4 hours before departure. All passengers should be at the departure lounge 75 minutes prior to departure. Premium Economy and Upper Class passengers have access to dedicated check-in counters.

Flying Club is also an American Express Membership Rewards partner. Virgin Australia Velocity members can earn points on all Virgin Atlantic flights.
Virgin Atlantic's Clubhouses are located across the airline's network. Each Clubhouse contains cocktail bars, a la carte dining options, business facilities and WiFi. Some Clubhouses offer additional services such as salons, saunas, games rooms, concierge services, guitar lessons and more. Access to these clubhouses is generally restricted to Upper Class passengers, Flying Club Gold cardholders and American Express Centurion cardholders.
