CONDITIONS OF ENTRY “Make a travel booking with minimum spend of $5,000 and WIN your holiday back !”  


The Promoter 

1. The promoter is Flight Centre Travel Group Limited trading as Flight Centre (“Promoter”) of Southpoint, 275 Grey Street, South Brisbane QLD 4101, Australia. 


Conditions of Entry 

2. Eligibility information and the prize offered form part of these Conditions of Entry. An individual that renders themself an Eligible Entrant is deemed to have accepted these Conditions of Entry. 

3. Entry is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years or older who comply with the requirements set out in the “Eligibility for Promotion” terms stated in these Conditions of Entry ("Eligible Entrants"). 

4. Employees of Flight Centre Travel Group Limited, its related bodies corporate, and their immediate families are not permitted to enter. 


Duration of Promotional Period 

5. The promotion commences at 12.01am AEST on Thursday 9 May 2024 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on Wednesday 05 June ("Promotion Period"). 1 x prize winners ("Promotion") will be drawn at 10:00am AEST on Friday 07 June 2024  


Eligibility for Promotion 

6. Eligible Entrants will be those who during the Promotion Period: 

Make a travel booking with minimum spend of $5,000 and you will be automatically entered into the draw to win your holiday back (the amount will be refunded to the winner) booking to be paid in full, with the booking made either in person (at any Promote retail store) or via the website ( and (who have opted in to receive marketing communications). 

7. Entries will be deemed to be accepted at the time of the Prize Winner selection. 

8. Maximum one (1) entry per Eligible Entrant.   

9. Entries received will be considered final by the Promoters. Entries which are incomplete, inaccurate, erroneous, illegible, inappropriate, offensive or incomprehensible or which infringe intellectual property rights will be deemed invalid. 

10. Entries must be received by the Promoters during the Promotion Period. The Promoter does not accept responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries. 

11. Any costs associated with accessing the promotion are the responsibility of each entrant and are dependent on the Internet Service Provider used. 

12. When entrants enter the competition, they are agreeing to receive email marketing from the Promoter. 

13. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any variation in the value of the Prize. 

14. If the Promoter is unable to provide the Prize Winner with the nominated Prize, the Promoter reserves the right to supply an alternative Prize of similar monetary value, subject to any direction of a lottery authority. 

15. If the Prize Winner does not accept any element of the Prize, the Promoter is not obliged to provide the Prize Winner with a substitute Prize. 


Selection of “Prize Winner” 

16. There will be one (1) Eligible Entrants selected at random as the winner across the Promotion Period (“Prize Winner”). 

17. The Prize Winner must be able to provide a current, valid Passport or Driver’s License / other Valid ID to verify their identity and accept the prize. 

18. The Prize Winners will be determined by a random computer-generated prize draw completed at 10:00am AEST on Friday 07 June 2024 taking place at the Promoter’s 
Head Office located at Southpoint, 275 Grey Street, South Brisbane QLD 4101, Australia. 

The Promoter reserves the right to draw additional reserve entries and record them in case an ineligible entrant is drawn. The Prize Winner need not be present at the draw. 

19. The Prize Winner will be contacted by the Promoter via telephone and in writing via email the day of the draw (in which they were drawn) or as soon as possible thereafter.  

20. The Prize Winner will have three months days to claim the prize. They will need to confirm they are happy to receive the refund for their booked holiday and this will be refunded back onto their original form of payment. The refund will be processed into the Prize Winner’s original payment method 7 days after confirmation.  

21. If the prize has not been claimed by the Prize Winner within three months of the above prize draw, an unclaimed prize draw will be held at 10:00am AEST on the following business day at the Promoter’s Head Office, Southpoint, 275 Grey Street, South Brisbane QLD 4101. The unclaimed prize draw will also be a random computer-generated prize draw.  

22. The winner of the unclaimed prize draw (“Unclaimed Prize Winner”) will be notified by email or telephone on the day of the unclaimed prize draw. All terms applicable to the Prize Winner will also apply to Unclaimed Prize Winner. 

23. The Prize Winner’s or the Unclaimed Prize Winner’s details (last name, first initial and postcode) will be published on the Promoter’s website - within 30 days of the major prize draw and/or unclaimed prize draws. 

24. The date on which the Prize Winner or Unclaimed Prize Winner (as applicable) is notified under clauses 12-14 of these Conditions of Entry will be known as the “Notification Date.” 

25. The Promoter's decision is final, and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result of the promotion. 

26. The Promoter can accept no responsibility for entries delayed, misdirected or undelivered. Incomplete entries will be disqualified. The Promoter shall not be responsible for technical errors in telecommunications networks, Internet access or otherwise preventing entry to any competition.  

27. The Promoter reserves the right to terminate the competition and withhold the Prize in the event that, in the Promoter's opinion, there are insufficient entries for the Promoter to be able to select a Prize Winner or where, in the Promoter’s opinion, improper conduct by an entrant (or any number of them) has rendered the competition unfair to all entrants. The Promoter’s decision is final with respect to any aspect of the competition, including the determination of any Prize Winner. No correspondence will be entered into. 


Prize Details 

28. The Prize Winner / Unclaimed Prize Winner (as applicable) will win their holiday they booked during the promotional period back (amount refunded to winner’s original payment method) and minimum. $5,000 spend instore or online is required on booking. The value of the Prize is either $19,000 or the value of the Prize Winner’s holiday booking at the discretion of the Promoter. 

29. The Prize Winners / Prize Unclaimed Winners must take the prize as offered. The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, cannot be sold or exchanged for cash (except as permitted through normal use of the prize) and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. 



30. Only customers who have consented to marketing will be entered automatically into the Prize Draw. The personal information of entrants will be collected to enable the Promoter to administer and promote this promotion and to contact the Prize Winner (or, if applicable, the winner of an Unclaimed Prize Draw).  Entrants agree that the Promoter may handle their personal information in accordance with the Promoter's privacy policy, which is available at:  Entrants agree that the Promoter may use their personal information for marketing purposes.  If an entrant does not truthfully provide all requested personal information, the Promoter may determine that they are not eligible to win the Prize. 


31. Any personal information held by the Promoter and/or the Promoter in respect of any competition will be held on record for a reasonable period to fulfil the purpose for which such personal information was collected. If an entrant gives the Promoter permission to pass on their personal information to a third party then this shall no longer be the responsibility of the Promoter and shall be subject to the privacy policy of that third party. 


32. The Prize Winner consents to the use of their name, suburb of residence, image and social media name or handle for promotional and marketing purposes. The personal information of the Prize Winner and their travel companion(s) (if applicable) may be provided to others assisting, including Prize suppliers and deliverers, and to authorities that regulate this promotion.  


33. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible for or liable for: 

(a) inaccurate/incorrect transcription of entry information. 

(b) entries that are not received for any reason, including because they are lost, misdirected, or stolen, or that are received, but are late, illegible, incomplete, sent with insufficient postage (where entry is by post), or sent other than as directed in the entry instructions. 

(c) any problems or technical failures of any kind, including malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems or network, servers or providers, computer equipment, or software. 

(d) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any service whether caused by traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website. 

(e) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the Promotion. 

(f) electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the promotion; g. any loss suffered or sustained, to person or property and including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods or services by any person to a Prize Winner and, where applicable, to any family/persons accompanying a Prize Winner; or 

(h) any injury or damage to persons or property, including to the participant's or any other person's computer related to, or resulting from, participation in or downloading any materials in this Promotion. 

34. The Promoter and its related bodies corporate will not be liable for personal injury suffered in connection with participation in this Promotion or with the use of the Prize offered, except to the extent caused directly by the Promoter's gross negligence. 

35. The above conditions do not affect, and are not intended to affect, any rights a consumer might have, which cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any liability of the Promoter or its related bodies corporate, servants or agents for breach of any such rights is limited to the payment of the cost of having the Prize supplied again. 

36. If this Promotion cannot run as planned for any reason beyond the Promoter's control, for example these instances may include but not be limited  to software, hardware or communications issues, unauthorised intervention, tampering, fraud or technical failure, government directives, pandemic, public health orders and the like, the Promoter may end, change, suspend or cancel the Promotion or disqualify affected entries/entrants, subject to any necessary approval by the state/territory gaming authorities and without providing compensation to Eligible Entrants.  

37. These Conditions of Entry shall be subject to the laws of the relevant jurisdiction in which the Eligible Entrant entered the Promotion. 

38. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook.  

39. By entering this Promotion, you agree to release Facebook from any liability including for any loss, personal injury or damage. 

40. These Conditions of Entry shall supersede all other prior terms and conditions, understandings, arrangements or agreements, whether verbal or written, in relation to the Promotion. This Promotion is a game of chance. Skill plays no part in this Promotion (except for the skills requirement for Canadian residents as noted in Paragraph 13 of these terms and conditions).
