Itinerary

  • Day 1 Delhi. Saturday. On arrival in Delhi you are met at the airport and transferred to our hotel. The rest of the day is free to explore India's capital at leisure before meeting the group and guide at the hotel at 18:00 for a Welcome meeting. Optional: Join our Backstreets of Delhi tour to explore Old Delhi, taste street food, and visit the vibrant Khari Baoli spice market and Jama Masjid. Transport includes metro, electric rickshaw, and walking. Overnight Delhi.
  • Day 2 Old & New Delhi. Delhi - Agra. Enjoy a full day of sightseeing including Humayun's Tomb, Jama Masjid, Gurudwara Bangla Sahib and its community kitchen, and a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk. In New Delhi, stroll Rajpath and see India Gate. In the afternoon, travel to Agra. Overnight Agra Included Meals Breakfast.
  • Day 3 Taj Mahal. Visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise, a world-famous monument to love. Then explore the historic Agra Fort with its beautiful Mughal architecture and fascinating history. Overnight Agra Included Meals Breakfast.
  • Day 4 Karauli or Dholpur. Agra - Karauli/Dholpur. Travel to either Karauli or Dholpur with a lunch stop en route. Stay in heritage accommodation-either Palace Bhanwar Vilas or Raj Niwas Palace. Spend the afternoon exploring the grounds or relaxing, with an optional evening Aarti (prayer) ceremony. Overnight Karauli or Dholpur Included Meals Breakfast, Dinner.
  • Day 5 Jaipur. Karauli/Dholpur - Jaipur. Journey to Jaipur, the UNESCO-listed Pink City. In the afternoon, visit the City Palace and Jantar Mantar Observatory, home to ancient astronomical instruments. Overnight Jaipur Included Meals Breakfast.
  • Day 6 Jaipur Sightseeing. Optional hot air balloon ride in the morning. Visit Amber Fort by jeep for a guided tour, and see a cotton weaving demonstration. The rest of the day is free-explore Jaipur's bazaars or unwind at your leisure. Overnight Jaipur Included Meals Breakfast.
  • Day 7 Return to Delhi. Jaipur - Delhi. Travel back to Delhi. The remainder of the day is free. Optional visit to the magnificent Akshardham Temple. Overnight Delhi Included Meals Breakfast.
  • Day 8 Delhi. Saturday. Your Indian adventure concludes after breakfast. Departure transfers are available on request. Included Meals Breakfast.
