A local guide will collect you from your accommodation between 8:30 and 9 am this morning and take you to your first stop – the Plaza de Mayo, which is the heart of the city and the place where it was founded. Continue to the creative neighbourhood of San Telmo, where you’ll discover the origins of tango Next up is La Boca to learn about the importance of football in the city before heading to Puerto Madero, a slick neighbourhood on the banks of the Rio de la Plata, and the famous Recoleta Cemetery, where many notable people are buried. Enjoy some free time in the afternoon at your accommodation and then hop in your transfer to dinner. Travel to the home of a Porteno (a resident of Buenos Aires) for a delicious barbecue dinner on their rooftop. Take in incredible views of the city and watch the sun go down while you chat to your friendly hosts and gain insight into everyday life in Buenos Aires.
