Flights to Miami
What to know before you fly to Miami?
While the official language of Miami is English, Spanish is spoken by 60 per cent of the population. The currency is the US dollar, and if you’ve booked your flights to Miami, remember that tipping is a huge part of American culture, with tips expected in most hospitality roles.
Miami enjoys a fantastic sub-tropical climate, with year-round warm weather. This also makes it a popular destination for residents from all over the United States, so to avoid the crowds, the best time to visit is between March and May.
Airports in Miami
Miami is home to several airports, with Miami International Airport (MIA) being the major hub for international flights and the primary gateway between North and Latin America.
