Any student of English history or avid watcher of The Tudors knows about Henry VIII, but what about the back story of his six wives? In the musical, Six, the Tudor queens are reimagined as pop princesses where 500 years of historical heartbreak is remixed as girl power. Tell you what we want, what we really, really want? A pop-tastic history lesson. Six opens at Brooks Atkinson Theatre on 12 March, 2020.

Is there anyone more iconic than Michael Jackson in the history of pop music? The King of Pop’s extensive musical canon is prime for the stage treatment. His electric performances and more than 25 of his top hits are brought to life in what’s described as “an explosion of music and theatricality as unforgettable as the artist himself”. The toe-tapping experience opens at Neil Simon Theatre on 13 August – we dare you to stay seated.
