Step 1: Download and Set Up the App (2 Minutes)

The app is free on iOS and Android. Once it’s downloaded, setup takes about two minutes:

Download the app. Search ‘Flight Centre’ in the App Store or Google Play, or go to flightcentre.com.au/app

Sign in or create an account Use your existing Flight Centre login, or tap ‘Create Account’ — you’ll need an email address and password

Connect your World360 Rewards account If you’re a World360 member, log in during setup to link your points balance to the app

Enable notifications When prompted, allow push notifications — this is how deal alerts reach you. You can customise which notifications you receive in Settings at any time

Set your home airport Tap the notification preferences to set your default departure city — the app uses this to personalise deal alerts to routes you’ll actually fly

💡 Already a Flight Centre Customer?

If you’ve previously booked in-store or via the website, log in with the same account details. Your upcoming bookings should appear automatically in the Trips tab — no manual import required. (Verify with your Travel Expert if a booking isn’t showing up.)

How to Search and Book Flights

The Flights icon is your starting point for any flight search. The app searches hundreds of airlines simultaneously and returns results you can filter by price, stops, airline, and departure time.

Booking a One-Way or Return Flight

Tap the Flights icon Located in the top navigation bar

Select your trip type Choose One-Way or Return at the top of the search screen

Enter your origin and destination Type the city or airport name — the app autocompletes as you type

Select your travel dates Tap the date fields to open the calendar. For flexible dates, use the Price Calendar view

Enter passenger numbers and tap Search Results load within seconds. Use the filter icon to narrow by stops, airline, price range, or departure time

Select your preferred flight and tap through to book Review fare conditions, enter passenger details, select seats where available, and complete payment. Your booking confirmation appears in the Trips tab automatically

Using the Price Calendar to Find the Cheapest Dates

If your travel dates have any flexibility at all, this feature is worth using before you commit to a search.

After entering your origin and destination, tap the calendar icon on the date selector. The app displays fare prices across a full month, day by day, so you can spot the cheapest window at a glance — without running the same search repeatedly with different dates.

Even a one or two-day shift can make a meaningful difference to the fare. The price calendar is particularly useful for holiday travel where you have a target week rather than a fixed date.

Booking a Multi-City Trip

The app handles multi-city itineraries natively — no need to piece together separate one-way bookings.

On the flight search screen, select ‘Multi-city search’ as your trip type

Add each leg of your trip Enter origin, destination, and date for every stop

How to Book Hotels and Packages

Searching for Accommodation

Tap the Stays icon to search for hotels and accommodation. Enter your destination, check-in and check-out dates, and number of guests. Filter results by price, star rating, and location. Tap any property to view details, photos, and room options before booking.

Bundling Flights and Stays

For the best combined value, tap the Packages icon. Enter your full trip details in one search and the app returns bundled pricing. Packaging often surfaces better value than booking each component separately, particularly for popular holiday routes.

How to View and Manage Your Trips

Finding Your Bookings

Tap the Trips tab (bottom navigation) to see all your upcoming bookings in one place. Flights, accommodation, and any additional booking details appear here automatically after purchase. For bookings made in-store, your Travel Expert will need to “publish” the trip for it to show in the app.

The home screen also surfaces your next upcoming trip at a glance, so you don’t even need to navigate to Trips for a quick reference.

Accessing Your Itinerary Online and Offline

Your booking details are accessible in the app whether you’re connected to data or not.

✈️ Practical Scenario

You’ve just landed overseas. No local SIM yet, airport Wi-Fi is patchy. Your accommodation address and booking reference are already in the app — offline, no data required. This is the kind of thing that’s easy to take for granted until you actually need it.

How to Set Up Deal Notifications

Tap the Account tab and then scroll down to find App settings. Here you can enable App notifications and set your home airport so you can receive deals alerts that are relevant to you.

Once notifications are active, check the Deals tab periodically for app-exclusive offers. If you’re a Captain’s Package member, your savings benefits also apply.

Tracking Your World360 Rewards in the App

If you’re a World360 Rewards member, your points balance and rewards progress are visible directly within the app. Tap the Account tab to see your current balance. Points accumulate on eligible bookings made through the app automatically — no separate tracking required.

When to Call in a Travel Expert

The app handles the vast majority of bookings independently and well. But for complex multi-destination itineraries, post-booking changes, or anything that benefits from a conversation — a Flight Centre Travel Expert is available by phone and in-store across Australia.

Think of the app as your everyday travel tool and the Travel Expert as the specialist you bring in when the itinerary gets complicated. Both are part of the same service.

How do I find my booking in the Flight Centre app?

Tap the Trips tab in the bottom navigation bar. All confirmed bookings — made via the app, the website, or in a Flight Centre store — should appear here automatically when you’re logged in to your account.

Can I use the Flight Centre app to check in for my flight?

Yes. Tap your upcoming flight in the Trips tab and tap Check In when the option becomes available (typically 24–48 hours before departure). Your boarding pass is stored in the app once check-in is complete.

Does the app work without an internet connection?

Yes. Your itinerary details — flight times, booking references, accommodation address, confirmation numbers — are accessible offline. This is particularly useful when travelling internationally without a local SIM or roaming data. However, the App will only allow offline access if you have your device security enabled (Passcode, biometric identifiers etc). This reduces the risk of someone else viewing your itinerary if you lose your device.

Can I book a multicity trip on the Flight Centre app?

Yes. Tap the Flights button and on the flight search screen, select Multi-city search as your trip type. Then, add each leg of your journey, and the app returns combined pricing across your full itinerary. All legs can be booked in one transaction and appear as a single itinerary in Trips.

How do I set up deal notifications on the app?

Tap the Account tab and then scroll down to App settings. Here, you can set your home airport and enable App notifications. The App will send you alerts when relevant app-exclusive deals become available.

I booked through a Flight Centre store — can I still see my trip in the app?
