There are three domestic terminals at Melbourne Airport. As a general rule, T1 for Qantas, T3 for Virgin Australia and T4 for budget airlines, including Jetstar, Rex Airlines and Link Airways – but make sure you check your ticket and confirm your departure terminal before making your way to the airport. You’ll find check-in areas on the first floors of T1 and T3, and on the ground floor of T4. It’s often possible to check in for your flights online in advance via your airline’s website or app, which can be an easy way to save time at the airport on the day of travel!
Baggage allowances vary by airline and ticket class, so it’s important to confirm what’s included with your flight booking to avoid any surprises at bag drop!
