Perth Airport (PER) is the fourth busiest airport in Australia and the gateway to iconic destinations across Western Australia, from nearby Rottnest Island to the spectacular Ningaloo Reef and remote Kimberley Region. As well as providing many domestic and international connections, Perth Airport also offered Australia’s first ever direct flights to Europe back in 2018, with the non-stop Qantas flight to London taking approximately 17 hours but eliminating the need for a stopover. Perth Airport consists of two terminal precincts and four terminals (T1, T2, T3 and T4).

Perth Airport has four terminals (T1, T2, T3 and T4) housed across two distinct precincts. If you’re travelling internationally, you’ll likely be flying out of either T1 or T3. Check-in areas can be found on the ground floor of each terminal, and flight arrival and departure times, as well as up-to-date gate information, will be displayed on information screens located within the terminals to help you navigate the airport. It’s always a good idea to arrive nice and early for your flight, and to confirm check-in times directly with your airline as each may have different requirements. It’s often possible to check in for your flights online via your airline’s website or app, which can be an easy way to save time at the airport on the day of travel.
Baggage allowances vary by airline and ticket class, so it’s important to confirm what’s included with your flight booking to avoid any surprises at the airport! For more specific information on baggage limits, such as the size, weight and number of bags included in your airfare, check with your airline or ask your Travel Expert for assistance. Baggage scales are available at Perth Airport in each of the check-in areas, just in case you need to double-check the weight of your luggage before heading to bag drop.
